Having a uniform is an important part of a young person’s scouting experience, but not all families can afford to purchase one. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners and Launderers is leading an effort to help meet that challenge by conducting an annual community–wide uniform collection campaign. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners and Launderers collects uniforms, plus numerous Scouting accessories including: shorts, pants, scarves, hats, socks, etc.
As of the end of our July 2016 drive, we have collected 3700 uniforms. During the month of July, all 25 Pilgrim Dry Cleaners and Launderers locations accept scout uniforms (of all vintages and sizes), clean them, and deliver them to the Northern Star Council BSA for distribution to Scouts in need.
Scouting For Uniforms runs the entire month of July at all 25 Pilgrim Cleaners locations. Scouting for Uniforms is sponsored by Pilgrim Cleaners, Northern Star Council & Sun Newspapers. To become a sponsor, please email: email@example.com
If you don't have a uniform to donate, but you would still like to help kids in need, please use the donate button below to help the cause! A $25 donation will purchase 1 new uniform. All donations will be used to purchase new uniforms for children in need.
You can also mail in a check to help us purchase new uniforms. Please send checks to:

Thank you so much for the prompt service I received from Pilgrim Cleaners. My military son was in town for my mother's funeral and needed his uniform cleaned and pressed promptly. His order was ready ahead of time which made it easier to attend the event in a timely manner. The order was also done beautifully and the shirt was pressed perfectly. The price was also very reasonable. Thank you so much for your great service.-The Westberg Family
