Coats for Kids
Providing Warm Coats for Kids & Adults
Minnesota winters are cold, and every year, there are children who lack adequate coats to protect them from the harsh weather. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners’ Coats for Kids drive exists to help meet this need. Founded by first-generation owner Don Rosen in 1986, the annual program has collected more than 480,000 coats to help Minnesota families in need.
From mid-September to mid-October every year, we invite you to donate new and gently-used coats for children and adults at any of the
28 Pilgrim Dry Cleaners locations or any
Davanni's Pizza location throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Pilgrim Dry Cleaners cleans the gently-used coats and distributes them to local charities and schools.
We Also Accept Monetary Donations
If you don’t have a coat to donate but would still like to help kids in need stay warm this winter, you can mail us a check. A $25 donation will purchase one new coat for someone in need.
Please mail checks to:
The Rose Foundation c/o Pilgrim Dry Cleaners
3217 85th Ave. N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55443
You can write “Coats for Kids” in the memo line.
